As you all know i have several online stores selling mannequins and displays in one store and another where i sell my paintings and things that people need to decorate their home.
So today i’ve been updating that last shop.
The store was in Flemish and i had added some English information on the articles but never made a good job of it. So i started the day on that site and now, finally, the whole site is available in English.
I’ve updated the shippingcost to different countries and added Germany in that list.
So this webshop is all about nice things for you’re home decoration. It is about what the name says: decorsandlifestyle.be
I will be adding new articles in the future. I intend to make a special corner for vintage-articles and a juwelry-store and more. We will see where it will bring us.
I send my parcels using GLS or Bpost or DPD, depending where i need to send the parcel too.
I’ve made it easy now to order articles wich must be send to Belgium, Netherlands, France, Germany, Luxemburg and Great Britain. The whole check-out system is now ready for these countries. But on request i will send all my articles trough Europe.
If you make nice original items that you think could fit into the shop, please contact me, i’m always looking out for original articles for the online store. My email: firstname.lastname@example.org
Please take a minute and visit my online store:

And it has been a storm …
I had just one canvas that i did not use yet, and so i tried to start painting about a week ago. It had been nearly a year ago that i made a painting so the start was not so easy.
The paint, and the colours went everywhere, but i just did not get the result that i wanted. The painting had no body, so i carried on and on and on…
The classic moment came when i decided to take a sponge over the whole painting creating a background of different colours, and from there on i started a whole new composition on the canvas.
The result was this acrylic painting on canvas with some stormy effects.
I called it “Storm”
The panting is made on a stretched canvas on a wooden frame 60×70 cm.
Here are some pictures from the whole painting as well as some more detailed views of the canvas.
This painting i called Eruption.
It feels like a deep impression going from the middle of the painting and working is way to the outside.
Many eruptions in the whole painting and lots of structure.
The painting is made on a canvas 50×70 cm and i streched on a wooden frame, ready to hang.
After the painting was dry i gave it a coating of 2 layers of varnish.
It’s a handmade painting, one of a kind.
The name of this painting is ARCH.
I did not have to think hard to give it a name, and most of the time a name just comes to me while painting.
This painting is made with acrylic paint and the canvas on a wooden frame is 60×80 cm.
To make a long story a little shorter… This painting started out as something complete different as most of my paintings do. Would you scrape of teh top layers of my paintings you nearly always would find another creation underneath. But it’s that basic unterneath work that i need to get to a final result where colours seem to come from somewhere else… well now you know where the come from.
I use different techniques and not only brushes to come to the result i want. I use scrapers you will find i a hardwarestore, sponges, and so much more.
After finishing the painting i seal the work with 3 layers of varnish.
The painting is ready to be hung.

It has been a long time since i posted some new paintings, and the reason why is quiet obvious, i just did not make any new paintings lately.
I’ve been cleaning out my workspace, as i had a lot of decorationmaterial that i needed to get rid of, before i could reinstall my table and little corner for painting. Now that the chelfs are empty i can start cleaning up the space, putting some paint on the wall and find a nice spot to install my painting-things.
Shortly the weather will improve, also a good thing, as i have no heating in my room.
In the meantime i still have my little gallery where i display the paintings that i made in the past.
One of my latest paintings i made on 4 small canvasses that i had just laying around.
And i decided that i wanted to make a painting in other colours than i usualy do, so i started painting blue and bright colours over 4 canvassen laying next to each-other.
I used different techniques, scraping and circles and freehand on this one, creating a painting where there is a lot going on.
I call it “Ignasius” and it’s 80×60 cm in total
The next canvas became just “out of nowhere” because that’s just what happened.
I was painting different colours on this 3D-canvas 50×50 cm and it was just going nowhere.
Using different colours brown, green till i needed to take a sponge and déléte what i made. That instantly changes the image and after using some scraping-tools this was the final result.
A sort of chocolate painting with different stripes.
It has been quiet a long time now that i was thinking about making a blog to show my paintings. And as i started doing this on this blog i tought it was time to change the name of my blog.
And so i did today.
This blog will be in the first place a blog to write about my paintings and things that inspire me to paint, but i also will post other tings like music that i like and video’s from artists that inspire me.
So please stay tuned and stay giving coments.
These are my new artistcards 😉 Hope you like them.
Making art is one thing, but finding a place “space” to show is something else.
I’m lucky to have both. I can make paintings and i can show them to the people who are interested in my own gallery.
Gallery is maybe a big word, but i use the entrance to my showroom with mannequins to display my art.
Paintings and mannequins… that does’nt sound bad 😉
Two days a week my showroom for mannequins is open and so i will be showing my paintings at the same time using the entrance as a gallery.
You can visit the showroom and see the paintings at the next adress:
We are open mondays and fridays from 10 till 12 am and 2 till 5 pm

I had the canvas for quiet a long time, but i did not want to paint on it till i was shure that it would become a nice one.
“A nice painting” in my style 😉
As allways i started working on the canvas, tried to create a new painting. It looks like i start a painting ending with a whole other result than what i tought it would become, but that’s allright for me, i know now that that’s just the way how it works in my mind.
The painting was made on a canvas from 1 x 1 meter and i used acrylic paint.
I’m happy with the result and can’t wait to make another one.
I know now that i enjoy painting large paintings more than small ones, I also need to work on my style, paint a bit more free.
So that is waht i’m trying to do in the future.
The big painting is on display in my showroom with mannequins, and i’m happy with the result.
It will be on sale soon, but first it needs to dry and the i can varnish the painting before adding it to my online shop.
If you would like to see my other paintings,, or buy one ( or more) you can find them in my online store.
